N8NChatUI vs Stylchat

Stylchat and N8N Chat UI's Managed Widgets both start from the same idea — a chat interface for your n8n workflow without writing frontend code. Where they differ is architecture, and what that architecture unlocks.

Stylchat connects your embedded widget straight to your n8n instance from the browser, with nothing in between. That keeps the data path short, but it also means your webhook URL sits in your page's client-side code, and anything that needs a server in the middle — hiding that endpoint, rate-limiting abusive traffic, restricting access by domain or country — isn't part of the architecture.

Managed Widgets route through a secure proxy instead, which is what makes those protections possible, along with a real-time analytics dashboard and the ability to update a live widget from the dashboard without touching your site's code.
